Charles Hofacker has a Ph.D. in Mathematical Psychology from UCLA. Since 1985 he has been a professor of marketing at Florida State University. His research in marketing has covered topics in statistics, choice theory, and human memory and information processing. In addition to working in academia, Dr. Hofacker spent several years as a computer programmer, and worked in User Services at the computing center at UCLA. Dr. Hofacker runs a Web site hosting business, and has performed a number of Web-based experiments on Internet clicking behavior.
