Log records include a date and time stamp, the name of
the file, the domain name and IP address of the client requesting the
page, the specific software client used to request the page, and the
referring URL, if any, which the visitor clicked on to come to your site.
A simplified, but typical, log record might look like:
joe.serf.com - - [24/Sep/1998:00:02:35 -0400] "GET /page.html"
http://www.x.com/x.html
In this example, a user sitting at a machine named joe.serf.com visited a
page called page.html on our server at two minutes past midnight. The
were referred to page.html from the URL: http://www.x.com/x.html.
