Marks Paneth & Shron LLP (MP&S) is pleased to announce the availability of a web-based Continuing Professional Education Center (CPE Center) that provides online training and continuing education for our current clients. This service is provided by SmartPros and offers certified CPE courses for CPA's in accounting, audit, finance, management, ethics and other areas as mandated by the recent law reform in New York State. All courses are online and you can access them at your convenience. The courses are self-paced, and credit will be earned upon passing any course.

As each course is successfully passed, (passing requires a 70%+ score on the final exam) the student's individual course journal is updated. As required by the national governing bodies, SmartPros maintains a history of all successfully completed courses for 5 years. Also, the student has the option to print a custom certificate of completion that indicates the course name, student name, date of completion and the number of credits completed. The credits earned in these courses can be applied towards a CPA, CMA, and CFM certification.

1. Login by entering your username and password in the fields at the upper right corner of this page.
2. Once logged in, click on the "CPE Courses" tab located on the toolbar above.
3. Choose a listed category from which to select a course.

The price for a one year subscription is $200 and entitles the user to take an unlimited number of CPE courses.

The subscription period begins on the date that a student registers in the CPE Center and ends on the one year anniversary thereafter. Subscriptions can be renewed after one year (365 calendar days).

** Please note that due to space restrictions, the CPE Center is only available to current clients of MP&S and their current employees.
